  -3 4 4 -3 4 -5 -5 4 -5 6 -3
Stayed in bed all morning just to pass the time
  -3 4 -3 4 -5 -5 4 6 -5 5 -5 -3
There's something wrong here, there can be no denying
-7 7 6 -5 5 -5 5 6 -5 5 -5 -5 6 5 3 -3
One of us is changing, or maybe we've just stopped trying

Chorus:
 4 -5 -7 -7 -7 -6 -6 -5 6 6 5
And it's too late, baby-, now-- it's too late
  5 -5 6 -6 6 -6 6 -5 5
Though we really did try to make it
 6 -6 6 7 -6 -6 -7 6 6 6 5 -6
Something inside has died and I can't hide
 6 -5 5 6 6 -5
And I just can't fake it

-1 -3 4 4 -3 4 -5 -5 4 -5 6 -3
It used to be so easy living here with you
-3 -3 4 -3 4 -5 -5 4 6 -5 5 -5 -3
You were light and breezy and I knew just what to do
-3 -7 7 6 -5 5 5 5 6 -5 5 -5 -5 6 5 3 -3
Now you look so unhappy, and I feel like a--- fool--

(Repeat Chorus)

 -3 4 4 -3 4 -5 -5 4 -5 6 -3
There'll be good times again for me and you
-3 -3 4 -3 4 -5 -5 4 6 -5 5 -5 -3
But we just can't stay together, don't you feel it too
 -7 7 6 -5 5 -5 -5
Still I'm glad for what we had,
  5 6 -5 5 -5 -5 6 5 3-3
and how I--- once loved you--

(Repeat Chorus)
