TO TRY FOR THE SUN
6 6 6 6 -5 5 -4 -4
We stood in the windy ci-ty
-5 -5 5 -4 4 4
the gupsy boy and I.
6 6 6 6 -5 5 5 -4 -4
We slept on the breeze in the midnight
-5 -5 -5 -5 5 -4 4 -3 4
with the rain droppin tears in our eyes
Refrain:
-5 -5 -5 5 -4 5 5
And who’s going be the one,
5 -5 -5 5 -4 4 -4 5
the safe was no good what we done
-5 -5 -5 -5 5 -4 -4 5 5
I dare a man to say I’m too young,
5 -5 -5 5 -4 4 -3 4
or I‘m goin’ to try for the sun.
