TO TRY FOR THE SUN
7 7 7 7 -6 6 -5 -5
We stood in the windy ci-ty
-6 -6 6 -5 4 4
the gupsy boy and I.
7 7 7 7 -6 6 6 -5 -5
We slept on the breeze in the midnight
-6 -6 -6 -6 6 -5 4 -4 4
with the rain droppin tears in our eyes
Refrain:
-6 -6 -6 6 -5 6 6
And who’s going be the one,
6 -6 -6 6 -5 4 -5 6
the safe was no good what we done
-6 -6 -6 -6 6 -5 -5 6 6
I dare a man to say I’m too young,
6 -6 -6 6 -5 4 -4 4
or I‘m goin’ to try for the sun.
