We'll Work Till Jesus Comes

We'll Work Till Jesus Comes

4 -4 5 5 5 5 6 5 5 -4
Oh land of rest for thee I sigh!

 4 -4 4 -4 -4 5 6
When will the mo-ment come,

4 -4 5 5 5 5 6 5 5 -4
When I shall lay my ar-mor by,

 4 -4 4 -4 -4 4
And dwell with peace at home?

chorus-

 6 6 6 6 -6 5 -4
We'll work till Je-sus comes,

 4 5 -4 5 6 6
We'll work till Je-sus comes,

 6 6 6 6 -6 5 -4
We'll work till Je sus comes,

 4 -4 4 -4 -4 4
And we'll be gath-ered home.

 2nd verse
To Jesus Christ I fled for rest;
He bade me cease to roam,
And lean for succor on his breast
Till he conduct me home.
3rd verse
I sought at once my Savior's side:
No more my steps shall roam,
With him I'll brave death's chilling tide,
And reach my heav'nly home.
