5 6 6 6 5 6
I have good news to bring
6 -6 -6 6 5 4
and that is why I sing
4 -4 5 6 -6 6 5 5 -4
all my joy with you I’ll share
6 6 6 6 5 6
I’m gonna take a trip
6 6 -6 6 5 4
on the Old Gospel Ship
5 -5 6 -5 5 -4 4
and go sailing through the air
6 6 6 6 6 5 6
Oh, I’m gonna take a trip
6 6 -6 6 5 4
On the Old Gospel Ship
4 4 4 5 6 -6 6 5 5 -4
I’m going far beyond the sky
6 6 6 6 6 5 6
Oh, I’m gonna shout and sing
6 -6 -6 6 5 4
Until the heavens ring
5 -5 6 6 -5 5 -4 4
When I’m bidding this world goodbye
