 3 4 -4 4 -5 4 -4 4-4-3
To you my heart cries out perfidia,
-4 4 -5 4 -4 4 -4 -3 4
For I found you, the love of my life,
-3 3 -2 3 -3-2 2
In somebody elses arms
 3 4 -4 4 -5 4 -4 4-4-3
Your eyes are echoing perfidia,
-4 4 -5 4 -4 4 -4 -3 4
Forgetful of our promise of love,
 -3 3 -2 3 -3 -2 2
You're sharing anothers charms
 -1 2 -2 -2 -2 3 -3
With a sad lament, my dreams
 -3 -3 3* -3 3* -3 3* -3 -4 3*
Have faded like a broken  melody;
 -4 4 -5 -5 -5 4 -4 -4 -4
While the gods of love look down and laugh
 4 -4 -4 -4 -3 3 -3 3 -2 2
At what romantic fools we mortals be
 3 4 -4 4 -5 4 -4 4 -4 -3
And now I know my love was not for you
 -4 4 -5 4 -4 4 -4 -3 4
And so I'll take it back with a sigh,
-3 3 -2 3 -3 -5 4
Perfidious one, good-bye.
