-5*   -3*   3   -2    2
When there are grey skies
4   4    3*  -2   -1*  -1
I don't mind the grey skies.
-1*  3    -3*  -5    5  -5 -3*
You make them blue, Son-ny Boy.
-5*     -3*  3   -2  2
Friends may for-sake me,
4    4    3* -2  -1*  -1
let them all for-sake me.
-1*      3 -3*  -1*   3 -3* -1*
You’ll pull me thru, Son-ny Boy.
-5      -5   5    -4  3*
You're sent from heav-en
3   4*  4*   4    -3*
and I know your worth.
4        4 -3* -3  3  -2 -3*
You’ve made a heav-en for me
-3*     4  4*  -5
right here on earth.

-5   -5* -3*  3   -2     2
When I'm old and grey, dear,
4     4   3*  -2    -1*    -1
Prom-ise you won't stray, dear,
-1* 3  -3* -5* -3* 4  -5*
I love you so, Son-ny Boy.

I don't mind the grey skies.

let them all for-sake me.
-1*      3 -3*  -1*   3 -3* -1*
You’ll pull me thru, Son-ny Boy.
-5      -5   5    -4  3*
You're sent from heav-en

-5   -5  -5 -5* -3*    3   -2  2
And then the an-gels grew lone-ly
4     4     3*     -2    -1* -1
Took you ‘cause they’re lone-ly
-1* -1*  3  -3* -5*  -3* 4  -5*
Now I'm lone-ly too, Son-ny Boy.
